- The Indian Railways will run the 1st Buddhist circuit train which will be covering sites related to Gautam Buddha in India and Nepal. The train will run from 20th October to 26th October 2019.
- Niti Aayog releases the India Innovation Index (III) 2019. Karnataka gained the top spot to be the most innovative major state in India. India Innovation Index (III) 2019 was released along with Institute of Competitiveness as knowledge partner.
- Odisha first robotic restaurant opens at Bhubaneshwar. The restaurant claims to be the first restaurant in Eastern India where two indigenously developed robots, Champa and Chameli have been engaged.
