The Oscars/Academy Awards took place once again at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California. While a few awards in the acting categories were all but locks, its one of the most competitive Oscars in recent memory, with The Revenant, The Big Short, Spot light and even Mad Max Fury Road serious contenders for major trophies.
