IBPS RRB CWE V – Detailed Eligibility Criteria

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection recently released IBPS RRB Notification 2016 announcing over 16560 tentative vacancies in the notification. This exam is for the recruitment of both Officers (Scale I, II and III) and Office Assistants and will be conducted in November & December 2016. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION & WORK EXPERIENCE (as on 30/09/2016)
Office Assistant (Multipurpose)
- Degree in any discipline or equivalent.
- Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Skills, Proficiency in local language of RRB, No Work Experience required.
Officer Scale – I
- Degree in any discipline. Preference to some streams.
- Computer Knowledge or Computer Awareness
- Proficiency in local language of RRB.
- No Work Experience required.
Officer Scale – II (General Banking Officer)
- Degree in any discipline with min. 50%. Preference to some streams.
- Computer Knowledge or Computer Awareness
- Proficiency in local language of RRB.
- No Work Experience required.
Officer Scale – II (Specialist Officer – IT)
- Degree in relevant discipline with min. 50%.
- Desirable: Certificate in ASP, PHP, C++, Java, VB, VC, OCP etc.
- One Year Work Experience
Officer Scale – II (Specialist Officer – Chartered Accountant)
- CA from ICAI
- One Year Work Experience
Officer Scale – II (Specialist Officer – Law Officer)
- CA from ICAI
- One Year Work Experience
Officer Scale – II (Specialist Officer – Law Officer)
- Degree in relevant discipline with min. 50%.
- Two Years Work Experience as Advocate or Law Officer in Banks etc.
Officer Scale – II (Specialist Officer – Treasury Manager)
- CA from ICAI or MBA (Finance)
- One Year Work Experience
Officer Scale – II (Specialist Officer – Marketing Officer)
- CA from ICAI or MBA (Finance)
- One Year Work Experience
Officer Scale – II (Specialist Officer – Agricultural Officer)
- Degree in relevant discipline with min. 50%.
- Two Years Work Experience
Officer Scale – III
- Degree in any discipline with min. 50%. Preference to certain streams.
- Five Years Work Experience as Officer in Bank etc.
AGE (as on 1/09/2016)
- For Scale III Officer – Above 21 years, Below 40 years.
- For Scale II Officer – Above 21 years, Below 32 years.
- For Scale I Officer – Above 18 years, Below 30 years.
- For Office Assistants – Above 18 years, Below 28 years.
