As you all know that finally IBPS has released the notification for the recruitment of Probationary Officers in the bank. IBPS PO 2017 is going to be an opportunity for those who have not been able to get through SBI. Just make sure that you get yourself ready for the battle this year.
But, many of our followers have several doubts and they are confused.So, we are here with this article to clarify all your doubts.
When will the registration start?
Registration will start from 16th August 2017 and will end on 15th September 2017
What is the application Fee?
Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
Rs. 600 /- for all others
When will be the exam conducted?
The Tentative dates for Preliminary Exams are 7th, 8th, 14th and 15th October 2017
The Tentative date for Mains Exam is 26th November 2017
How many vacancies are there?
The number of vacancies are 3562 for Probationary Officer
What is the age criteria to apply in this common written exam?
Minimum: 20 years         Maximum: 30 years
A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1987 and not later than 01.08.1997 (both dates inclusive)
Will the vacancies for IBPS PO 2017-18 Recruitment increase?
Yes, the vacancies are expected to increase and a few participating banks have not yet declared their vacancies for IBPS Recruitment. Aspirants can expect the number of vacancies to go up.
Are there any changes in Exam Pattern?
Yes, this year IBPS has made changes in the Mains Exam Pattern. Now the structure is very similar to the mains pattern of SBI Exams. Reasoning and Computer sections are clubbed and there are changes in the name of subjects as well as number of questions and weightage of each section. This time there is also a descriptive paper in the Mains Exam.

What is the educational qualification required for various posts in this recruitment process?
Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. (As on 05.09.2017)
I have scored 50% in Graduation. Am I eligible to sit for the exam?
Yes, you can apply as there is no percentage criterion. You just need to be a graduate.
What is the pattern of score in IBPS Probationary Officer Exam?
The corrected scores obtained by each of the candidates in different sessions (if held) will be normalized using the equipercentile method. Prior to the completion of the interview process, scores obtained in the online examination will not be shared with the candidates shortlisted for interview.
What is the cut-off for being recruited?
There is no fixed cutoff for IBPS Probationary Officer. It depends on the performance of the candidates each year. Your final score is calculated based on your performance in the written test and the interview.
