  • India seeks to buy anti-submarine choppers ‘MH-60 Romeo’  from US for $2 billion.

Business:

  • UIDAI CEO Ajay Bhushan Pandey will be the new revenue secretary. He will succeed Hasmukh Adhia. Adhia who will retire at the end of this month, is also the finance secretary.

Science:

  • Scientists in China have created an Artificial Sun and it is way hotter than the actual Sun. The creation was made on a simulator in which nuclear fission was carried out.
