How many vacancies are there?
The number of vacancies are 2200 for Probationary Officer.
When will be the exam conducted?
- The Tentative dates for Preliminary Exams are expected to be on 2nd, 3rd, 9th & 10th July 2016.
- The Tentative dates for Mains Exam are expected to be on 31st July 2016.
When will the result be declared?
- Tentative Date for declaration of Results for Preliminary is expected to be announced on 18th July 2016.
- Tentative Date for declaration of Results for Mains is expected to be announced on 16th August 2016.
- Final results will be declared on 30th September 2016.
Will there be any interview after the written result?
Yes, as per the notification the Interview and the Group Discussion will be conducted on 1st September. The ratio of Written Exam (250) and Interview (50) is 75:25
What is the age criteria to apply in this SBI PO exam?
Not below 21 years and not above 30 years as on 01.04.2016 i.e candidates must have been born on 02.04.1986 or later and before or on 01.04.1995 (both days inclusive).
What is the educational qualification required for various posts in this recruitment process?
Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
I have given my final year graduation exams but the result has not been declared yet. Can I apply?
Those who are in the Final Year/Semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 31.08.2016.
Is PAN Card Mandatory to apply for the SBI PO 2016 exam?
Yes, PAN Card is mandatory to apply for the exam.
Many candidates are confused and worried about the latest mandatory requirement of PAN Card.But, candidates if you do not have PAN card right now then please apply for it today/tomorrow as it can be applied in online mode also.And you can receive the PAN Card in around a week.
How many times I can appear for the Probationary Officer Exam?
Candidates who have already appeared for the maximum number of chances permissible are not eligible to apply. The number of chances will be counted from the examination held on 18.04.2010. Appearing in Preliminary Examination will not be counted as a chance.
What should I fill in the column of survey which will be asked while filling application form?
You Just need to fill that how do you know about the current vacancy with the options available i.e. – Newspaper, Social Media, Friends etc.
