IPPB Assistant Manager Scale I Interview Experience
Hello Friends,
I am here sharing my Interview experience of India Post Payment Bank Scale I Assistant Manager. I hope that this will be helpful for other bank exams aspirants. The key is to maintain your calm and composure along with staying truthful.
VENUE: POST OFFICE BUILDING, DELHI
DATE: 13 JUly 2017
PANEL: The panel consisted of 5 members, 4 males and 1 female.
My scheduled interview timing was 12:00 pm.
I reached the venue by 11:30 am.
Firstly we had our document verification.
After the lunch break I had my interview at around 2:30 pm. After a ring was buzzed , I entered the interview hall. Firstly i greeted all the panel members
M1 -Darr Lag rha Hai ???? Stressed Ho??
Me – No, Sir (With a smile)
M1 – Ok, Introduce yourself including all your strengths and weaknesses and education.
Me – Ok Sir, Myself Preeti Singh.My Father is _______ in _________ department.My mother’s a homemaker.My elder sister is preparing for civil services and Younger brother is an Engineer in ______ Company. I have Done B.Sc in Life Sciences and M.Sc in Biodiversity & Conservation.
My strengths are my good communication skills and my helping nature.
F1 – And Weakness ???? Well Preeti Your smile is your strength.
Me – Thank You Mam, and as such mam i don’t have any weakness 🙂
F1 – (Smiling) Ok Good.Now tell me Preeti For which post you are called for?
Me – Mam, For Assistant Manager (Territory) Scale I Post in IPPB.
F1 – Yes But its Assistant Manager (Territory) Scale I SALE (She focused on Sale)
Me – Ok mam
M2 – So, What is the meaning of subject in your M.Sc ?
Me – Sir, Biodiversity means Variety and variability of organisms at species,genetic and ecosystem level.
M1 – Ok, So,M.Sc k baad Kya kia?
Me – Sir, M.sc k bad mene Banking ki preparation start ki aur side by side online website pr kaam bhi.
F1 – Ok, So tum logo ko kaise convince kroge ki hmare IPPB me Account khulwae?
Me – Mam, ham Advertisments karenge ,pamphelets,hoardings aur SMS etc. services ko use krenge aur logo ko smjhaenge.
M2 – Ha but rural k logo ko kaise samjhaoge,wo to itne padhe likhe hote nahi
Me – Sir, ham rural areas me jakr log jis jagah ikkhathe hote h wha unko IPPB k benefits bata kar smjahenge.
M1 – Ok, to kitne types k banks hote h?
Me – Sir, Public sector banks, Private sector Banks, Regional Rural Banks, Cooperative Banks and Now Payment banks and Small Finance Banks.
M1 – Payment banks and Small Finance bank me kya difference hai?
Me – Sir, dono hi banks MSMEs and low income group k liye hai but sir Payment bank me ham maximum 1 lakh ka deposit kar skte hai and payment bank hame loan ki facility nahi deta jabki Small Banks me aisa kuch nahi h
F1 – So, credit card facility hai Payment banks me
Me – No mam
M1 – Ok, So kabhi kisi ko Convince kia hai tumne kisi bat k liye?
Me – Yes Sir, Mere parents ko that mujhe PhD pursue na kar k Banking me apna career banana hai. 🙂
All panel members smiled and say good honest answer and asked me thank you preeti you may leave now.
INTERVIEW LASTED FOR AROUND 10-12 MINUTES
Overall my PI went very smoothly, I maintained my calm and composure and I answered all of their queries appropriately. To all my friends, I would like to suggest that they asked questions from our replies. So be prepared, whatever you will answered they will pick questions from your answer itself. Usually the panel at start asking some question related to personal life and daily routine rather then technical but if you are from commerce or economics background then there are chances that they may start with questions from your field of study.
