SBI PO Prelims 2017 Expected Exam Pattern
Dear SBI PO Aspirants,
As you all know that State Bank of India has recently released the notification for the recruitment of Probationary Officer in its various branches across India.Now, its high time to prepare for Preliminary exam as every second counts for this important exam.
So, here we are with the expected exam pattern and topics on which questions may be asked in the prelims exam and friends DON’T WORRY as we are going to post daily quizzes based on these topics for the convenience of our SBI PO aspirants.
Preliminary Exam Pattern:
Preliminary Examination consisting of Objective Tests for 100 marks will be conducted online. This test would be of 1 hour duration consisting of 3 Sections as follows:

We are expecting 5 questions from these topics:
- Number Series
- Approximation/Simplification
- Comparison of variables
- Data Interpretation (Tables & Line Graph)
English Language:
We are expecting the level of this sections as Moderate to difficult based on previous year SBI PO Prelims exam
- Reading Comprehension
- Sentence Rearrangement
- Cloze Test
- Para Completion
- Fill in the Blanks
- Error Detection
- Sentence Improvement
In each of the topics we can expect the questions/Reading comprehension based on Social Economy,Economy,Environment and current affairs
Reasoning ability
We are expecting the level of this sections as Moderate to difficult based on previous year SBI PO Prelims exam
- Sitting arrangement & Blood Relation (Difficult)
- Puzzles (Difficult and Tricky)
- Coding Decoding (Difficult and new pattern)
- Syllogism (Moderate)
- Direction and Ranking (Moderate)
