Maths and Reasoning, both sections were easy and one can easily score good marks if he had practised properly. The section included the typical SSC type questions. The questions were covered from topics like Simple Interest, Time and Work, Ratio and Proportion, and rest were from remaining portions of Arithmetic. If we specifically talk about Reasoning the questions were similar to SSC and topics like Analogy, Classification, Blood Relation, Syllogism based question, arrangement questions, input-output,, Non Verbal Reasoning, Sitting Arrangements etc. were asked. This section was quite typical and the students who have appeared for recent exam will not take much time in solving these questions.
In this section most questions were asked from Current affairs, Questions were related to railways, Railway Budget, Economics, history and geography based questions, constitution. Some questions were direct and some questions were twisted. This section will play an important role in deciding the candidate’s fate. This will act as decider. As we all know that it is impossible to cover each and every aspect of general knowledge but from the type of questions we have seen in this shift will help you guess the questions to be asked in upcoming shifts.
GA questions asked on 31st March 2016 – First Session
GA questions asked on 31st March 2016 – Second Session
GA questions asked on 31st March 2016 – Third Session
The above analysis has been written based on preliminary information we have received.
Do not get panicked students, who are going to appear in next shifts. All the sections were easy except General Awareness. You can easily attempt above 80 but the attempts will vary from zone to zone. The cutoff will remain different for each zone and the cutoff will depend on the number of vacancies reported by each RRB.
