High Court Allows SBI to Proceed with Clerical Recruitment

As we all know one aspirant from Tamil Nadu, S Gurukrishna, requested the Hon. High Court to squash SBI Clerical Recruitment 2016. The plea was because of SBI barred loan defaulters from applying for the post of SBI Junior Associate (Clerical). Due to this many students who belonged to weaker and poor sections were affected by this criteria.
But now the good news is that High court has allowed SBI to Proceed with Clerical Recruitment.

The Justices said that the “SBI could proceed with the recruitment process as several candidates had already filed their applications for the clerk positions, and would therefore be adversely affected if the examinations were cancelled.”
However, the Justices also said that their final judgement, which is still pending, would have “an impact on the results of the entire recruitment process.”
