Air India becomes the first airline to use taxibot on A320 aircraft with passengers onboard. Taxibot is a robot-used aircraft tractor for taxiing an aircraft from parking bay to runway and vice versa. It is a pilot-controlled semi-robotic towbarless aircraft tractor used as alternate taxiing equipment.

Carlsberg has created the world’s 1^st ever recyclable paper beer bottle. The announcement was made at C40 World Mayor’s summit in Copenhagen on 11^th October 2019. These paper bottles are known as Green Fibre Bottle
Flipkart forays into Original video content with launch of Flipkart Video Orignals. It will take on rivals like amazon, netflix etc.

Sports:

ICC reinstates Zimbabwe and Nepal as permanent members of ICC. The decision was taken in Board meeting held in Dubai on 14^th October. Zimbabwe was suspended in July 2019 for violation of provisions of article 2.4 (c) and (d) of ICC constitution, which imposes an obligation on Members to provide a process for free and democratic elections and to ensure that there is no government interference in its governance and / or administration for cricket respectively.
Nepal were also readmitted on a conditional basis. In October this year, the Central Working Committee’s election was conducted with an Independent Panel supervising it under the ambit of the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) constitution, which in turn ensured Nepal’s readmission.
