As you all know that SBI PO Prelims is over now,but not your preparation as SBI PO Mains is on its way. You are left with only a few weeks for the preparation of SBI PO Mains 2016. As per an estimate around 30,000 students will clear the SBI PO Prelims Exam and will be appearing in the SBI PO Mains Exam.

The SBI PO Mains Exam is tough to crack, but definitely worth it.


If you prepare well, you can clear the SBI PO exam in first attempt. But you have to prepare thoroughly for it as SBI PO Exam is not that easy. Reasoning & Computer

 

In Reasoning Understand the question before solving it. Don’t take much time for single question. You have to be very careful while answering these questions. Practice similar questions from previous model papers or previous year’s exam papers are the key to do well in this section. The most important questions from this section are on the topics such as

It’s better to attempt first those questions on which you are very confident and you can attempt in a lesser time. Please do not start with Seating Arrangement/Puzzle type’s questions because once you stuck in these questions, you will lose your valuable time.

Computer  Questions asked in SBI PO exam mainly contain questions related to basic knowledge about computer. So you need to be aware about computer here that includes:

  • Hardware.
  • Software.
  • MS Office.
  • Keyboard Shortcuts.
  • Internet.
English Language SBI PO English section is tough when you compare with other competitive exams and this is the section where many aspirants are not able to score minimum cut off marks. As you all read English books, chat with your friends in English and of course watch English movies. But you cannot get score good marks in English section. Most of the students face difficulty in this section. This is a test principally to determine candidate’s ability to remember main ideas and significant details. The most important questions from this section are on the topics such as

Data Analysis & Interpretation

 

Data Interpretation questions are based on facts, tables, pie charts and diagrams. The more you practice such questions, the more will be comfortable in solving them. It is expected that 25-30 questions will be from this section.

Data Analysis: This is a tricky section this year. Introduced in 2014 for the first time on the content of this section. As per our experiences and advice from coaching institute experts we have prepared the following probable list of type questions that may possibly be covered this section.

General Awareness

GA section is not purely based on questions from general knowledge or current affairs, but instead it is a mix of:

  • Questions related to General Knowledge  ( last 3 to 4 months)
  • Questions Related to Banking Awareness
  • Questions related  to Marketing knowledge

 

Important Tips For SBI PO Exam Aspirants

  • Go through the pattern of SBI PO exam and frame you strategies accordingly. No extra work is required.
  • Make sure that you haven’t missed anything that was in the syllabus. Be 100% prepared from your side

  • Exchanging ideas with each other is a very effective way of learning new things. Interact with your friends and teachers and try and learn from them and vice-versa
  • All the sections are equally important and require equal attention and hard work. Don’t over do any section
  • While studying from the book, keep writing down the points that you think are important. Making notes helps a lot during the revision.
  • There’s no need to panic. Just make sure that you SBI PO Preparation is going well and be cool
  • Practice as many mock tests as you can.From the mock Test analyse your weak areas and prepare for them.
