Hello Sehpaathians,

As you all know that State Bank of India will be going to conduct an examination for Probationary Officer post in the month of july in three phases: Prelims, Mains and GD & Interview.

Procedure to apply Online for SBI PO 2016 Exam

So, Have you all started to prepare for SBI PO 2016 recruitment exam?

We know you all want to prepare a strategy and for that all of you must understand the selection process and cut off scores that one need to score. So, Here we are providing you the previous year cutoff of SBI PO 2015 Prelims Exam. This will help you to analyse the competition level and section wise preparation strategy.

State Bank of India conducted an exam for the post of Probationary Officers on 20, 21, 27, 28th of June 2015.The total number of Post available for PO was 2393 and around more than 20 lakh candidates applied and appeared for the SBI PO Prelim 2015 Exam. SBI PO Main 2015 Exam was held on 26th July 2015. The SBI PO Prelim 2015 Exam Cutoff for the general candidate was 47.5 .

As per the expectation, State bank of India choose 40-50,000  students(approx.) for SBI PO Main 2015 Exam based on the SBI PO Result of Prelim 2015 Exam. 

So here are the SBI PO Prelims 2015 cutoffs tabulated category wise and section wise

Important points for SBI PO Prelims exam 2016:

  • You need to secure minimum qualifying cut offs individually for each of the 3 sections as well as overall
  • If you failed in any of the section but your total score is above overall cut off, then also you won’t qualify

The SBI PO Prelims is only a screening test and just for qualifying purpose. The marks obtained by a  candidates in prelims will not be added while preparing the merit list.
