  • The 69th British Academy Film Awards 2016 held on 14th February 2016 in London
  • It has held at the Royal Opera House in Central London
  • This award is presented by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA), accolades are handed out for the best in feature-length film and documentaries of any nationality, that were screened at British cinemas during 2015.
  • BAFTA was founded in 1947 as The British Film Academy later became The British Academy of Film and Television Arts in 1976.
  • The Revenant got the best film, best actor, best director, best cinematography and best sound awards at the 69th edition of the biggest film awards.
