Important Dates:

Last Date for online registration: 12-02-2016

Availability of e-Admit cards: 07-03-2016 to 04-04-2016

Posts & Vacancies:

• Indian Economic Service – 15
• Indian Statistical Service – 13

Eligibility Criteria:

• Age should be minimum 21 years and maximum 30 years as on 01-08-2016.However, relaxation will be provided as per government rules.
• Indian Economic Service-Post-Graduate Degree in Economics/Applied Economics/ Business Economics/Econometrics from a University.

Indian Statistical Service – Bachelor’s Degree with Statistics/Mathematical    Statistics/ Applied Statistics as one of the subject or a Master’s degree in Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics from a University.

Selection procedure:

The examination shall be conducted according to the following plan—

• Part I-Written examination carrying a maximum of 1000 marks
• Part II-Viva voce of such candidates as may be called by the Commission carrying a maximum of 200 marks.

Online Application Process:

Candidates can only apply via online mode with the payment of Rs.200 for all the candidates except SC/ST/ExSM/PWD with the following steps:
