Syllogism Questions are very important in every competitive examination. This set is based on questions on a given set of information, which are to be solved on basis of 7 rules. We will be updating you with all type of syllogism Questions on a daily basis.

Directions (1-5): In the questions below are given two conclusions followed by five set of statements. You have to choose the correct set of statements that logically satisfies given conclusions either definitely or possibly. Assume the given statements to be true even if they seem to be at variance from commonly known facts.

Question 1.

Statements: 
All Wood are Pencil.
No Pencil is Forest.
All Forest are Box.

Conclusions: 
I. Some Box is Wood.
II. Some Box is not Wood.
A. Neither I nor II follow.
B. I and II follow.
C. Only I follow.
D. Either I or II follow.
E. Only II follow.

Question 2.

Statements: 
All Leg are Hand.
All Hand are Finger.
Some Finger is Knee.

Conclusions: 
All Leg are Knee.
Some Leg are not Knee.
A. Neither I nor II follow.
B. I and II follow.
C. Only I follow.
D. Either I or II follow.
E. Only II follow.
Ans. D. 

Question 3.

Statements: 
Some Shirts are Skirts.
Some Skirts are Buttons.
All Trousers are Buttons.

Conclusions: 
I. Some Skirt are Trousers.
II. All Trousers being Shirt is a possibility.
A. Neither I nor II follow.
B. I and II follow.
C. Only I follow.
D. Either I or II follow.
E. Only II follow.

Question 4.

Statements: 
All Mango are Orange.
Some Orange are Banana.
All Apple are Banana.

Conclusions:
