Hello Readers,

Syllogism Questions are very important in every competitive examination. This set is based on questions on a given set of information, which are to be solved on basis of 7 rules. We will be updating you with all type of syllogism Questions on a daily basis.

Directions (1-5): In the questions below are given two conclusions followed by five set of statements. You have to choose the correct set of statements that logically satisfies given conclusions either definitely or possibly. Assume the given statements to be true even if they seem to be at variance from commonly known facts.

1.Statements: All caps are cows.
Some cows are cup
Some cat are cups
No cat is caps

Conclusion: (I) Some cows are not cat
(II) All cat being cows is a possibility
(III) some cups are not caps

1) Only (i) and (iii) follow
2) only (iii) follow
3) Only (i) and (ii) follow
4) All follow
5) None of these

2.Statements: Some G are I
Some H are I
Some H are M
No M is I

Conclusion: (I) All H being I is a possibility
(II) Some G are not M
(III) Some G being M is a possibility

3) Only (i) and (ii) follow
4) All follow
5) None of these

 

3.Statements: All exams are boring
No exam is interesting
Some exams are important
No important is interesting

Conclusion: (I) All important being boring is a possibility
(II) All interesting being boring is a possibility
(III) Some boring are not interesting

1) Only (i) and (iii) follow
2) only (iii) follow
3) Only (i) and (ii) follow
4) All follow
5) None of these

4.Statements: All jugs are jars
No Jar is bowl
Some bowls are useless
Some useless are jugs

Conclusion: (I) All useless being jar is a possibility
(II) All useless being bowls is a possibility
(III) Some useless are not bowl
