Syllogism Questions (New Pattern) Set 37

Hello Readers,

Syllogism Questions are very important in every competitive examination. This set is based on questions on a given set of information, which are to be solved on basis of 7 rules. We will be updating you with all type of syllogism Questions on a daily basis.

Directions (1-3): In the questions below are given two conclusions followed by four set of statements. You have to choose the correct set of statements that logically satisfies given conclusions either definitely or possibly. Assume the given statements to be true even if they seem to be at variance from commonly known facts.

Q1. Conclusions: Some Tyre is bus.
Some truck is not tyre.
Statements:
(a) Some pot is bus. No bus is truck. All truck is car. No car is tyre.
(b) All pot is bus. Some bus is truck. No truck is car. Some car is tyre.
(c) Some pot is tyre. All tyre is truck. No truck is bus. All bus is car.
(d) All pot is truck. Some truck is car. No car is tyre. Some bus is tyre.
(e) None of these.

Q2. Conclusions: Some finger is hair.
Some leg is not hair.
Statements:
(a) No hand is leg. All finger is leg. No eye is hair. Some hair is nose.
(b) All hand is leg. No hand is nose. Some nose is finger. No finger is hair.
(c) Some hand is nose. All nose is eye. No eye is hair. All hair is leg.
(d) All finger is hand. Some hair is finger. No hair is nose. All leg is nose.
(e) None of these.

Q3. Conclusions: Some harvest are not green.
No Forest is green.
Statements:
(a) Some harvest are fax. No fax is green. No green is White. All white are forest..
(b) All the Forest are white. Some green are white. Some harvest are fax. No fax is green.
(c) No fax is green. No green is Forest. All the Forest are white. No harvest is white.
(d) Some harvest are fax. No fax is green. All forest are white. No whites is green.
(e) None of these.

Directions (10-12): Question consists of five statements followed by five conclusions. Consider the given statements to be true even if they seem to be at variance with commonly known facts. Read all the conclusions and then decide which of the given conclusions does not logically follow from the given statements using all statements together.

Q4. Statements: Some lotto is rupani. All rupani is sparx. No sparx is woodland. Some woodland is redtape. All redtape is leecooper.
Conclusions:
(a) Some lotto is sparx.
(b) Some leecooper is woodland.
(c) Some leecooper is not sparx.
(d) Some lotto is not woodland.
(e) Some rupani is woodland.

Q5. Statements: All jeans is shirt. All shirt is pant. Some shirt is cloth. All cloth is suit. Some cloth is saree.
Conclusions: (a) Some pant is jeans.
(b) Some cloth is pant.
(c) Some cloth is jeans.
(d) Some saree is suit.
(e) Some suit is shirt.
