Syllogism Questions are very important in every competitive examination. This set is based on questions on a given set of information, which are to be solved on basis of 7 rules. We will be updating you with all type of syllogism Questions on a daily basis.
Directions (1-5): In each question below there are three statements followed by two conclusions numbered I and II. You have to take the three given statements to be true even if they seem to be at variance from commonly known facts and then decide which of the given conclusions logically follows from the three given statements disregarding commonly known facts. Then decide which of the answers
(A), (B), (C), (D) and (E) is the correct answer and indicate it on the answer sheet.
Give answer (A) if only conclusion I is follows.
Give answer (B) if only conclusion II is follows
Give answer (C) if either conclusion I or II follows.
Give answer (D) if neither I nor II is follows.
Give answer (E) if both I and II follow.

1) Statements:
Some bottles are jungles
All Jungles are birds
Conclusions:
I. Some Birds are Bottles
II. All Bottles are birds
2) Statements:
Some Books are tables
Some tables are mirrors
Conclusion:
I. Some mirrors are books
II. No Book is a mirror
3) Statements:
All roads are water
Some water are boats
Conclusion:
I. Some boats are roads
II. All water are boats
4) Statements:
All flowers are trees
No fruit is a tree
Conclusion:
I. No fruit is a flower
II. Some trees are flowers
5) Statements:
All pens are chalks
All chairs are chalks
Conclusion:
I. Some pens are chairs
II. Some chalks are pens
