General Knowledge asked in SSC CGL is of dead Nature. This means there are many questions from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography, Civics, General Studies, Polity and Constitution. Though there are also a few questions from Current Affairs
Questions on Puzzles, Syllogism, Logical reasoning Questions, Direction, data Sufficiency are common in this section. Usually reasoning In SSC CGL is easy.
This Section is different from what we get in Banking and other competitive exam. In quantitative section here questions from trigonometry, Geometry, Mensuration are common.
Reading comprehensions is a very important part of SSC CGL examination. Vocabulary also plays a very important role in English Section of SSC CGL 2016.
