Your Strategy based on Exam review IBPS RRB Pre 2016

Dear Aspirants

With Exams for IBPS RRB Pre have begun today and 4 sessions of the exam have also taken place we are here with the strategy you must follow to give your best in the exam.

  • Start from Quantitative aptitude. The level is easy to moderate with many questions here can be solved verbally. Set a deadline of 25 minutes to finish this section. In 25 minutes you must target solving of at-least 30-35 questions.
  • Try to find the easy Data interpretation sets by going through the questions. If the answers to any question is directly visible, attempt it first.
  • Number series and approximation based questions follow a set pattern. Try to practice each type of pattern as many times as you can.
  • Then you begin off with the reasoning section. You have 20 minutes left. Try to attempt atleast 30-35 questions in the span given. Attempt the direction based questions, alphabetical based questions first. They are very easy and highly scoring.
  • Then you must try your hand on syllogism and logical reasoning. Syllogism questions depend on 7 sets of rules which if followed judiciously. In logical reasoning always keep in mind that the statements are independent of each other and have no relation unless you select a both statement.
  • You can attempt Input-Output questions. Best way to solve these questions is writing down all the steps at once and then selecting the correct answer.
  • try out puzzles and arrangement based questions in the end. Puzzles and linear seating arrangement are usually simple and scoring.
