SSC CGL 2016 – Educational qualifications of various posts

As you all know that online registrations for Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level 2016 will be active now. So, all of you are in mode of applying but many of you are still confused about Educational qualifications of all the 30 posts under SSC CGL 2016.

So here we are providing you the details of educational qualification for SSC CGL 2016 which will help you to analyze for which posts you can apply based on the education qualification as on 1st August 2016.

Assistant Audit Officer Post –

  • Essential Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute
  • Desirable Qualifications: Chartered Accountant or Cost & Management Accountant or Company Secretary or Masters in Commerce or Masters in Business Studies or Masters in Business Administration (Finance) or Masters in Business Economics.

Statistical Investigator Grade-II Post –

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute with at least 60% in Mathematics at 12th standard level
    OR
    Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.

Post of Compiler –

  • Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University with Economics or Statistics or Mathematics as compulsory or Elective subject.

For all other posts –

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.

Note: For posts of Assistant Section Officer (CSS), Computer Proficiency Test has also been prescribed as an Essential Qualification.

What do you understand by CPT ?

  • The Commission will hold Computer Proficiency Test (CPT), comprising of three modules- Word Processing, Spread Sheet and Generation of Slides, for applicants for the post of Assistant Section Officer of CSS.
  • It will be conducted in the manner decided by the Commission for the purpose.
  • It will be of qualifying nature.
