Sequence in which you must attempt SSC CGL 2016 Exam

Dear Friends

With SSC CGL 2016 exam round the corner and is scheduled to start from next week we are here with the sequence in which you must attempt the exam for best results.

SSC this year changed the exam pattern and introduced Tier 1 exam.

4 General Knowledge and Awareness 25 50

Total Time Available : 75 minutes




We advice all Aspirants to attempt the exam in the following sequence

  • General Knowledge – You can attempt most of the questions in this section in a span of 10 minutes. You must attempt this section 1st because once you finish you will left off with 75 questions and you will be having a good 65 minutes at your disposal.
  • English – After General Knowledge you must focus on completing English section. Usually English is solved in a span of 12-15 minutes which will give you the sufficiency time required for Maths and Reasoning sections.
  • Maths Or Reasoning – You must divide your time nicely between these 2 lengthy sections. We advice 25 minutes for Reasoning and 30 minutes for Maths questions.
  • Reasoning or Maths




It has been witnessed that questions in SSC has repeated from time to time. We advice all aspirants to attempt previous year paper of SSC for best results.
