RBI Exam Pattern for Specialist Cadre Officers 2018

Hello Friends,

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released a notification for the recruitment of Specialist Cadre Officers. The total no. of vacancies is 60. The application process ends on 7th September 2018. The RBI Grade B Specialist Cadre Officers Exam takes place in 2 stages – Online Written Exam & Interview. 

Exam Pattern for Specialist Cadre Officers 2018

The RBI Grade B Specialist Cadre Officers Selection Process consists of:

  1. Online Written Test
  2. Interviews

Paper – I Online – Objective Professional Knowledge
in the area of Specialization

Paper – II Online Descriptive
(to be typed with the help of keyboard)

Paper – III Offline Descriptive
(Question paper to be displayed on the computer,
answers to be written on answer sheets provided by RBISB)
Professional Knowledge
in the area of Specialization
90 minutes Approx. 9- 10
(out of which 5 questions
will be answered by the candidates)

  • The exam will be through both Online & Offline mode.
  • Online examination will be Objective type & Offline Examination will be descriptive type.
  • There will be negative marking for every wrong answer in Paper I.
  • Evaluation of Paper II will be done only if you sufficiently high marks in Paper-I.
  • Question papers for examination will be set in English.
  • Selection will be based on the performance in the examination & interview taken together.
  • The Interview will be of 50 marks.
