Last year in PO Exam and recent results of SBI Clerk Prelims have shown the importance of the Exam.We have seen many candidates scoring well in individual sections but failing in the overall cut off for the Preliminary examinations. While on the other hand, some scoring just the minimum required marks and clearing the overall score for the SBI Main Examination Pass to their name. The knowledge matters have you have time, but in a shorter format, the approach towards the exam can make a difference between success and the failure.

A total of 30 questions will be asked from the English Language Section. These topics will be asked in the SBI exam and all these questions can be done by giving some time and the trick here is to do questions according to your strength. Now let us discuss the approach to be the best in the business. Now let us see the approach in detail.

Approach for different Students:

Here we are and every student not only for English alone but also for the other subjects must attempt the questions according to his strength.

Type 1: Student who are good at English Grammar

There will be some topics which are for the students who are good at English Grammar like Grammatical Errors, Sentence Improvement. If you categorize yourself as a good grammar student then go for them because they can help you to grab some quick marks within no time. They must attempt them first to gain confidence and accuracy. Gain your confidence by practicing.

Type 2: Students good in Vocabulary and Common English

These kinds of students must attempt the cloze test as well as the Reading Comprehension and Fillers. It will take some time but there are more chances that they will maintain their accuracy and good chances of selection by implementing such pattern.

Type 3: Students who are weak in English

There is nothing to worry about if you find yourself among students who are weak in English. If you are reading and understanding this Article, then believe me you are not weak. You can clear it quite easily.

You can try to be giving 25 minutes to this and try to skip the reading comprehension and Errors. Try doing the fillers and put the options in the place one by one this will take time but will give you better chances of clearing the cut off in the Prelims Examination. Then attempt the Cloze Test with the same trick and in last the Sentence Improvement if time allows you.

This approach will work for you in the Prelims Exam but in the long run, work on your English Grammar Skills which will improve your understanding. You can practice the English Test based on the current pattern of the Examination with the Solutions.
