Pros of Joining SBI Clerical

Pros of Joining SBI Clerical

With Results for SBI Clerical 2018 have already been declared and all successful aspirants are waiting for their appointment letters which is expected to come around December 2018, we are here with BIG Pros of joining SBI Clerical.

Posting:

In SBI Clerical you are sure to get posting in your home state or the state from where you filled the form. Usually home postings are given to girls and nearby postings are given to boys.

Time For Family and Friends

Banker’s job specially Officers is becoming a thankless job every single passing day. Pressures are being mounted for cross selling, NPA recoveries, disbursement of new loans etc. In such cases Officers usually find it difficult to spare time for their families. But this is not the case with Clerical staff. They have defined working hours (7 hours or 8 hours). This would mean that they have more time for their family and friends.

Good if Not Handsome pay.

All Those successful aspirants who have complaints about the salary a clerical staff earns against a probationary officer, please compare yourself to your friends. Starting Salary of a clerical in SBI is around 23000 (in hand). This is 40% more than the average salary of your friends. If you still have complaints, just spend 6 months in banking and you will now how lucky you are!

Overtime Pay:

Clerical staff has fixed working hours (7 to 8 hrs). Any work above working hours is entitled to overtime money i.e. pay per hour. Contra to this, it is often told that officers are 24X7 on duty of the bank and they have to serve the bank whenever needed. Though this depends on your manager.

Promotion Policy is Quick

If you have complaints with the clerical tag, don’t worry. You can become an officer in just 2-3 years. (JAIIB Required)

So it is my request to all my SBI Clerical Friends to please enjoy your moments in banking and start to smile.
