Paper Pattern West Bengal PSC Works Accountant Recruitment 2018

WBPSC has invited application for the post of works accountant. Last date for filling the forms for the post is 09-08-2018. We are here with the Paper pattern of the exam which is expected to be held in September 2018.

Exam will be held in 2 stages:

Preliminary Exam – Preliminary exam will be held in a single day. The paper will consist of 125 multiple choice questions. Paper will be of 150 Marks and total time allowed will be 2 hours. There will be negative marking (1/4).

This will be followed by mains Examination which will be held in 3 parts.

Written Proficiency : Paper will be of 100 marks and time allotted will be 2 and half hour. Contents of exam will be as under

1 English Precis Writing 15
2 English Report Writing 15
3 Essay writing in any one of the languages (English/Bengali/Hindi/Urdu/Nepali/Santali 35
3 Letter writing in any one of the languages (English/Bengali/Hindi/Urdu/Nepali/Santali 35

This will be followed by Personality Test: It will be of 15 marks. Candidates in order of merit on the basis of results of written examination will be  called personality test.

Test of Computer Efficiency:- For direct recruitment to the posts of Works Accountant. the skill on computer operation and computer typing of the candidate shall be judged by the commission before sending recommendation to the government.
