What is NSP OTR?

NSP (National Scholarship Portal) has introduced the OTR facility to streamline the registration process for scholarships. Instead of yearly registrations, students now only need to register once through OTR.

Who receives OTR messages and what to do?

Students who have already completed their registration for the 2023-2024 session via Face Authentication will receive OTR messages. Here’s what they need to do:

1. Visit the official website.
2. Click on the ‘Apply’ option under the OTR section.
3. If you haven’t received an OTR message, you can still register by entering your Reference Number and password received in the message.

Steps for those who received Reference Number messages:

Students who haven’t completed Face Authentication will have received a Reference Number. Here’s what they should do:

1. Download the Aadhar Face RD app and the NSP app.
2. Open the NSP app and find the ‘eKyc with faceAuth’ option at the bottom.
3. Complete eKyc to obtain your OTR Number via SMS.
4. Follow the same registration process as mentioned above.
