NABARD Grade A & B Officer: Exam Pattern




NABARD, an apex development bank in India, having headquarters in Mumbai (Maharashtra) and other branches are all over the country released the notification for the recruitment of Grade A & B Officer. It has been mentioned in the notification that the new scheme of selection would be adopted by NABARD.

With a focus on the Exam, here we are discussing the selection process, the pattern and syllabus of the exam. The final selection will be made on the basis of your performance in-

  • Phase I – Preliminary Exam: Online Objective Test
  • Phase II – Main Exam: Online Objective & Online Descriptive Test
  • Phase III – Interview

 

PHASE I

Phase I – Online Preliminary Exam is qualifying in nature and is meant to serve as a screening test. Candidates who qualify and rank sufficiently high in Preliminary Exam, well above the cutoff, shall be called for appearing in the Main Examination.

So, the marks secured in the Phase I – On-line preliminary examination will not be counted for final selection.



The Exam Pattern for the Phase I is as follow:

PART I:

Computer Knowledge 20
General Awareness 30

PART – II

Test Maximum Marks
Economics & Social Issues 25
Agriculture and Rural Development 25

The exam will be of objective multiple choice type which will be conducted online. The Preliminary Exam is divided into 2 parts and is of 200 marks. The overall duration for the exam is 120 minutes (2 hr) and it will consist following test.



The Preliminary Exam will be common for Both Posts i.e. Assistant Manager Grade ‘A’ & Manager Grade ‘B’

PHASE II

The phase II of the Exam consists of Online Objective test & Online Descriptive Test. The Phase II of the exam will be different for both Posts.

For Assistant Manager Grade ‘A’, the Exam will consist of:

Paper Maximum Marks Duration
General English (Descriptive) 100 1.5 hours
Economic and Social Issues and Agriculture and Rural Development (Objective) 100 1.5 hours

 

 

For Manager Grade ‘B’, the Exam will consist of:

Paper Maximum Marks Duration
General English (Descriptive) 100 1.5 hours
Economic and Social Issues and Agriculture and Rural Development (Objective) 100 1.5 hours
Analytical Paper on Development Economics, Statistics, Finance and Management (Obejective) 100 1.5 hours

 

Final selection will be made on the basis of candidate’s performance in Phase II examination and interview (combined score) taken together in order of merit.
