India Post Payments Bank Recruitment 2016 – Clarification of Doubts

As The notification for the post of Scale – I Officers was recently released by India Post Payments Bank Limited. A lot of queries were raised by all of you for the same. As per the questions asked by many of you, today we are going to provide information about the IPPB recruitment and clear the doubts you all have been facing.

Dates of Online Application –
Candidates can register online from 4th October 2016 and the online registration ends on 25th October 2016.

Date of Online Examination –
Specific date for the exam has not been announced yet but the exam is expected to take place in December, 2016/ January, 2017.

Eligibility Criteria –

Minimum Educational Qualification – Graduate from University/ Institution/ Board recognised by the Government of India (or) approved by a Government Regulatory Body.
No percentage criteria has been specified.
Candidates who fulfil the minimum education qualification and with postal services or sales of financial products/ rural banking/ with experience as Business Correspondent for banks are also eligible.
No particular experience requirement has been specified in the notification.

Posting Location –
Candidates willing to serve anywhere in India need to apply. Rural postings may be provided. The selected candidates will be posted/ transferred/ moved to other roles at discretion of IPPB to various offices of IPPB from time to time and on such terms and conditions as may be decided by IPPB.

Probation Period –
The Probationary Officers will be on probation of two years during which they will be given intensive training. Towards the end of their probation/training period, they will be subjected to a screening process for confirmation.

Selection Procedure –
Selection as Scale I officer at IPPB is subject to clearing following stages of the recruitment drive –
a) Preliminary Exam
b) Mains Exam
c) Interview
Exam will be conducted Online.

Emoluments –
Approximate Total Monthly CTC# – Rs. 65,000/-
Approximate monthly CTC calculated at the start of the scale inclusive of Dearness Allowance, City Compensatory Allowance & other allowances at “A” Category cities.
