MTCR (Missile Technology Control regime) (1987)

It was established by G7 countries in April 1987, with motive to curb spread of unmanned delivery systems for nuclear weapons specifically delivery systems that could carry a minimum payload of 500 kg for a minimum of 300 km.

MTCR today is a group of 35 countries of which India is the most Recent Member.

Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG) (1974)

Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG) is a group of nuclear supplier countries that seek to prevent nuclear proliferation by controlling the export of materials, equipment and technology that can be used to manufacture nuclear weapons. NSG is a unanimous regime i.e. If any country goes against the decision the resolution is dropped.

NSG currently has 48 members; And India is expected to become the 49^th Member of the group. Meeting is scheduled to be held on 24^th June 2016 at Seoul, South Korea.
