The Preliminary phase of the IBPS RRB Office Assistant Exam had started from 12th November 2016. The Second set of the exam is scheduled today i.e. 13th November 2016. Here is the detailed analysis.

Quantitative Aptitude (40 Questions)

Level –Easy to Moderate

(i) Number Series – 5 Questions (Easy)

(ii) Approximation/ Simplification – 15 Questions (Easy )

(iii) Data Interpretation (1 Set) – 5 Questions (Easy to Moderate)

(iv) Miscellaneous Questions – 15 Questions (Moderate)
Miscellaneous questions include – Age, Probability, Partnership, Profit Loss, Average, Boats & Stream, Compound/Simple Interest, Ratio and Proportion, Percentage, Time & Work, etc.

Reasoning Ability (40 Questions)

Level – Easy to Moderate

(i) Syllogism – 5 Questions (Easy)

(ii) Inequality – 5 Questions (Easy) (Direct Questions)

(iii) Seating Arrangement – 10 Questions

• Linear arrangement – 7 people, all facing north
• Circular arrangement – 7 people, all facing the centre

(iv) Alphanumeric Series – 5 questions (Easy to Moderate)

(vi) Miscellaneous Questions  – 15 Questions (Easy to Moderate)  (including blood relations, direction based questions)
