Lack of Time Management

Time Management is very crucial aspect of IBPS RRB exam. Prelims exam comprises 80 questions to be attempted in 45 Minutes duration. The way in which you manage your time decides factor of your success in the IBPS RRB Prelims. Firstly, 45 minutes is a very short time for attempting all 80 questions. Secondly, exam anxiety further makes it even more difficult to attempt 80 questions in 45 minutes. Inappropriate Time-Management definitely results in failure.

Non-Familiarity with the Online Platform

  • Students lacking familiarity with the Online Mode lack awareness on how to switch between the different sections and the technique to scan all the questions of the exam owing to which they tend to attempt the exam in the default order.
  • Lack of awareness on how to operate the Online Software Platform surely creates all these problems for the candidates.
  • In order to assure your success in the IBPS RRB exam, you must enroll in a good Online Mock Test Series. Attempt Online Tests consistently in order to develop acquaintance with the Online Platform.

Lack of Awareness of the Changes in Exam Pattern

  • IBPS has recently brought out changes in the exam pattern of the RRB exam wherein a Prelims exam has been introduced.
  • The Prelims exam is comprising of only the Numerical Ability and Reasoning section and English section is not a part of the Prelims exam.
  • Lack of awareness of all these can surely result in failure. You can only gather awareness of all this by thoroughly going through previous year papers of IBPS RRB.

Not Paying Attention to Negative Marking

  • Candidates have the tendency to attempt questions through blind guesswork in order to increase their overall attempt. Sometimes, candidates get too engrossed in attempting the exam that they forget about the ‘Negative Marking’ aspect.
  • Sometimes candidates deliberately attempt unknown questions through Blind guesswork.
  • All these practices gradually result in losing valuable marks which could have helped them in qualifying the cutoff and moving to the next stage.

Not Concentrating on Speed and Accuracy while Attempting Mock Tests

  • Aspirants do not focus on speed and accuracy while attempting Mock tests and solving previous year papers. These two factors act as a big hurdle in candidates’ success in the IBPS RRB exam unless they attain proficiency in these.
  • Attempting large number of Speed Tests and Full-length Tests are the only effective ways to improvise and enhance your Accuracy and Speed.

So, friends try to avoid all these things and concentrate on your exam and just do well.
