Ever since the introduction of Reserve List by IBPS in PO-3 allotment process, there have been a buzz going around and you all must have heard some chitter-chatters about candidates protesting & moving to court against the Reserve List. Till now, there has only been very little or none authentic sources to confirm this news.

But now, it is confirmed that IBPS PO-3 Reserve List has been challenged in high court. Not only it is challenged but the High Court has issued notices to the IBPS and the Department of Financial Services in the Union Finance Ministry to furnish the details of all existing and un-filled vacancies.

Following article published yesterday on the official website of The Hindu confirms this news. To read this article click this link:

Our take on this issue:

We believe that it is too soon to predict the outcome of this legal fight because the further course of action will depend a lot on the report that is to be submitted by IBPS. But, it seems certain that this will delay the process for second round of allotment which was earlier expected to be rolled out in the month of August 2014.
