The 1st session of 6th day of  SSC CGL Exam 2016 is over. The candidates coming out of the exam center have been calling the exam as Easy to moderate. The detailed exam review is as follows.The analysis will give you idea about the pattern and level of the questions asked during the exam.

How can candidates preparing for Banking can clear SSC CGL 2016 with flying colors

There are four sections in SSC CGL 2016 (Tier-I) Examination: General Intelligence & Reasoning , General Awareness , Quantitative Aptitude and English Comprehension .

Now we are going to discuss the overall exam analysis of today’s exams:

Based on the level of difficulty of each section asked in SSC CGL Tier 1 Examination on 1 September 2016, here are the number of attempts which are considered good in order to crack SSC CGL Tier 1 Examination.

Reasoning Aptitude

The reasoning section was Easy to Moderate. Maximum questions were asked from the following sections:

Just like previous month’s papers, Reasoning Section was easy to attempt. Some questions were a little challenging related to the High Level Reasoning topics such as Classification, Picture Diagram etc.

Attempting 20-22 questions will be considered as a good attempt.

Quantitative Aptitude:

Similar to the Reasoning section, Quantitative Aptitude was Easy to Moderate. Questions were asked mostly from the following topics:

Geometry 4
Speed and Distance 3

Bar Chart 5

Most of the questions were from the topic of Bar Chart. The difficulty level of questions was relatively easy. Questions based on Geometry and Trigonometry were a little challenging. Candidates having good arithmetic knowledge and practice can attempt 16-18 questions easily.

English Language:

The English Language section was Easy to Moderate. Maximum questions were asked from the following sections:

Just like yesterday, most of the questions were from the topics Reading Comprehension and Antonym/Synonym. Topics such as Sentence Correction, One word Substitution and Idioms/Phrases were a little challenging. Attempting 14-16 questions will be considered as a good attempt.

General Awareness:

As expected, the level of difficulty for General Awareness section was Tough. The topic wise distribution is as follows:

The questions asked in the exam were easy to attempt but the MCQs were confusing in nature. Special focus was given to static portion but some National current affairs were also there in the paper.Attempting 12-14 questions will be considered as a good attempt.
