1. Volition ( इच्छा, इच्छाशक्ति)

Meaning: The power of choosing freely and making one’s own decision.

Meaning: Speaking or writing ina very abusive way.
Sentence: The vilification of our established customs and traditions is resented by orthodox thinkers

3. Wilderness (उजाड़,  बीहड़)

Meaning: An uncultivated, uninhabited and inhospital regions.

4.  Wheedle (मनाना)

Meaning: use endearments or flattery to persuade someone to do something.
Sentence: The children had a knack of wheedling money out of their father.

5. Prolix (आति दीर्घ)

Meaning: tiresomely wordy and dull
Sentence: The orator’s prolix speech had a soporific effect on the listeners.

Meaning: Undue favoritism to one’s relationship and close friends.

10. Mercenary (  किराए का टट्टू,  लालची)

Meaning: Motivated chiefly by the desire to make money
Sentence: The fact that his friends deserted him as soon as he was bereft of all wealth makes it obvious that their interests in him were purely Mercenary.
