Documents you need to Fill During Joining Bank

Dear Sehpaathian,

With results are out we are here with guidance on what are the important documents that you will need while you join banks. The verification of all your documents will be done again at the time of your joining as done by IBPS During interview.



For Gen/OBC/ SC/ST Category (compulsory Documents)

  • Asset and Liability Form: Movable, Immovable and Valuable Property: (As on 31st mar 2016) This statement has to be mandatory submitted by every candidate. It is the declaration form in which you declare your movable, immovable and valuable assets which you have before joining of bank
  • Medical Certificate (Fitness Certificate): This certificate needs to be received from a registered doctor, confirming that you are medically fit to join banking.
  • Attestation Form : In this form all your particulars need to be filled in the desired Format

  • Acceptance of Offer Letter Format : This format will be given by individual banks in which you will be asked to sign acceptance of offer letter and become an probationary Officer
  • Your Graduation certificate (Provisional or Original), 12th passing certificate, 10th Passing Certificate (must have DOB), Your KYC Documents.




Other documents required By OBC Category Students

  • Latest OBC Certificate : You need to get the latest OBC Certificate for joining the bank. The OBC Certificate date depend on the date of your joining.
  • OBC Declaration Form: Declaration form that you are an OBC candidiate

Other documents required By SC/ST Category Students

  • SC/ST Certificate Format: You need to produce your SC/ST certificate in prescribed format only

Other than these there is a form named NPS (New Pension Scheme form) : This work can be filled with 12 months of your joining, and require your branch name and code in it. So no need to worry about it during joining.
