I’m now going to tell about these two so have a careful look.

UPSC : is abbreviated as Union Public Service Commission.

This is a constitutional body and this conducts various examination and selection procedure to select the eligible candidates into some responsible posts this is one of the trusted government recruiting agency type. Articles 315 to 323 of Part XIV of the constitution, titled Services Under the Union and the States, provide for a Public Service Commission for the Union and for each state.

It conducts examinations like
->CSE : Civil Service Examination.
->CDS : Combined Defense service examination.
->Engineering service examination
->Forest services examination.
and many more.

SSC : Staff selection Commission.
It is also one of the agency in department of Personnel selection and training.
The main responsibility of the Staff Selection Commission is to make recruitment to Group C (non-technical) & Group B (non- gazetted- both technical & non-technical) posts in departments of Government of India, its attached & subordinate offices except those for which recruitment is made by the Railway Recruitment Boards & Industrial Establishments. The Staff Selection Commission is also assigned the task of conducting Departmental Examinations for

• Promotion from Group D to LDC Grade,

• Promotion from LDC to UDC Grade and

• Promotion from Stenographers Grade D to Stenographers Grade C besides holding Periodical Typewriting Tests in English & Hindi.

The Staff Selection Commission has a nationwide network of 9 Regional/Sub-regional Offices located at Allahabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Guwahati, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi & Sub-regional offices located at Chandigarh & Raipur.

It also selects the personnel but in the lower ranges like SI posts in CBI and CPF departments in that way they will also help in recruiting the officer range candidates into central services.
