Dearness Allowance for Banking from Nov-19 to Jan-20

Dearness allowance for bankers have been increased for the months beginning from November 2019 to January 2020 by 37 slabs i.e. 3.7%. This would mean that banking salary would increase for the next 3 months.

In banks change in dearness allowance is notified every 3 months. A 3.7% hike in DA allowance would mean that Bank’s starting salary for Probationary Officers will go up by almost Rs.700 where as for starting salary of clerical staff would be increased by about Rs. 250/-. The total slabs after addition of 3.7 labs would be 71.7%

How is Gross salary of Banks Calculated

DA X (Basic Salary + SPL (7.75% of Basic Pay)) + CCA (According to city) + HRA (If lease not taken).

When Will next change in Dearness Allowance take place?

Dearness Allowance for Bankers will now change from Month starting from February 2020 to April 2020
