Data Sufficiency Set-14

Data Sufficiency Questions are very important in every competitive examination. You can easily find a set of such questions in every examination.

(a) if the data in statement I alone are sufficient to answer the question, while the data in statement II alone are not sufficient to answer the question.
(b) if the data in statement II alone are sufficient to answer the question, while the data in statement I alone are not sufficient to answer the question.
(c) if the data either in statement I alone or in statement II alone are sufficient to answer the question.
(d) if the data in both statement I and II together are not sufficient to answer the question.
(e) if the data in both statement I and II together are necessary to answer the question.

Q2. What is the per cent profit earned by selling a car for Rs. 640000?
I. The amount of profit earned on selling the car was Rs. 320000.
II. The selling price of the car was twice the cost price.

Q3. What is the rate of interest p.c.p.a.?
I. An amount of Rs. 14350 gives a simple interest of Rs. 11480 in 4 yr.
II. The amount doubles itself in 5 yr with simple interest.

Q4. What is the two-digit number?
I. The difference between the two digits of the number is 9.
II. The product of the two digits of the number is 0.

Q5. What is the perimeter of the rectangle?
I. The area of the rectangle is 252 m2,
II. The ratio of length of breath of the rectangle is 9 : 7, respectively.
