  1. BOB Becomes 3rd Largest Bank As Dena, Vijaya Merger Take Effect.

  -The amalgamation of Vijaya Bank and Dena Bank into the Bank of Baroda has come into effect and all branches of the former two will function as branches of BoB.

  1. RBI Sets NBFC-MFI’s Average Base Rate At 9.21% For April-June.

  -The Reserve Bank set the average by non-banking financial companies and micro-finance institutions at 9.21% for the first quarter of the next fiscal {April-June}.
