15 day preparation Tips for IBPS PO Pre 2016

With IBPS PO Pre examinations are scheduled to take place from 3rd week of October we are here with proper preparation tips and tricks

First we would like to remind all aspirants that the given exam is a preliminary round, marks of which will not be counted in the main examination. So this is the opportunity to work on your weaker sections, bang on your strong one’s and regard this exam as an opportunity to try out your choices.

We expect attempt of over 60 questions with an accuracy of 92%-95%  to be a safe score for the exam. The level of exam is expected to be moderate.

How to Prepare for the Exam

Quant & DI: The syllabus of these 2 sections are well known to everyone. Try out the DI part more. Reason is this is the section which affects your scoring. You can expect atleast 15 questions from DI in the exam. You must target atleast 25/35 in this section

Reasoning: Work out very efficiently on a bunch of easy questions related to alphabets, directions, logical reasoning. They are just easy score improver. Practice Syllogism, input-output, State assumption and conclusion based questions. You can expect atleast 10-15 questions there. Puzzles are one of the most difficult part in reasoning. But always remember not all are difficult. If you get suppose 3 puzzle in the exam, be sure atleast 1 will be very easy. Puzzle needs your concepts to be clear and a lot of practice already put in. You must target atleast 25/35 in this section

English: Work out to improve your hit ratio in Cloze Test, Rearrangement based questions, find the grammatical error. Comprehensions are long and need time to be solved. But there are sections in comprehensions which can be answered easily. The portion is antonym and synonyms.  You must target atleast 20/30 in this section.

Advice to all aspirants

With vacancies in banks getting thinner everyday, it is very important for everyone of you to become more competitive. Everyone must regard the preliminary exam as a practice test before the main exam and try to give your 100%. Focus to eradicate your weakness, enhance your strengths and improve your score by atleast 20%.

Best of Luck
