NIACL Assistant Recruitment 2018: Important Dates

Selection Process:NIACL Assistant Selection Process is based on the following three phases:

• Preliminary Exam
• Mains Exam
• Regional Language Test

Note: The knowledge of the regional language of the state for which the candidate is applying is essential. Prelims Exam PatternMains Exam Pattern

Regional Language TestIn this test your proficiency in the regional language will be tested. You should have the knowledge of your region for which you have applied. Those who qualify the Online NIACL Main Examination will be called for Regional Language Test. This test is only qualifying in nature.Note:

• Total marks obtained as above shall be proportionately reduced to a base of 35 marks.
• All sections except English will be available bilingually i.e. in English & Hindi.
• There will be an overall cut off. Nothing has been mentioned about sectional cut offs.
• Negative Marking → 1/4th of the marks assigned to that question (0.25 marks) will be deducted as penalty.
• There is no negative marking for unattended questions.
• The paper will be Online MCQ in which each question will have 5 options & you have to choose the correct one.
• This time there is no interview taking place for the Assistant post, as per the government rule.
• Final selection is made on the basis of performance in NIACL Mains exam & Regional Language Test.

NIACL Assistant Eligibility Criteria

There are 2 criteria on which the eligibility of a candidate is judged for NIACL Assistant 2018 – education and age. You need to qualify following eligibility standards to apply for this exam.

1. NIACL Age Limit for Assistant Exam (as on 30th June 2018)

Minimum Age – 21 years

Maximum Age – 30 years

You need to fall under this upper & lower age limit to apply for NIACL Assistant.

NIACL Age Relaxation for Assistant Exam

The Age Relaxation for New India Assurance Recruitment 2018 will be applicable as per Govt. norms. The NIACL Assistant 2018 Age Relaxation for different categories are as follows:

• SC/ST – 5 years

• OBC (Non – Creamy Layer) – 3 years

• PWD – 10 years

• Ex-Servicemen – 5 years

• Defence service personnel disabled in operation during the hostilities with any foreign country or in a disturbed area and released as consequence thereof – 3 years

• Persons ordinarily domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period 1-1-80 to 31.12.1989 – 5 years

2. NIACL Assistant Educational Qualification

• You must be a graduate in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised by Central Government.

• You must have the regional language knowledge of the state of recruitment.

Salaries in NIACL Assistant 2018

• The total salary will be RS. 25500/-per month in Metropolitan Cities.
• This will be in the scale of -14435-840(1)-15275-915(2)-17105-1030(5)-22255-1195(2)-24645-1455(3}-2901 0-1510(2)-32030-1610(5)-40080
• Along with this other allowances will be provided.
• Apart from allowances other benefits such as lump sum domiciliary medical benefit, membership of Group Mediclaim Policy for Reimbursement of hospitalization expenses, leave travel subsidy and other staff welfare schemes would be as per the rules of the Company
• You can also avail the facility Company’s accommodation or leased accommodation as per their norms.

NIACL Assistant Job Profile & Probation

• When you are appointed as an Assistant after selection process, you will be posted and transferred to any place in India as per Company guidelines.
• You will have stay at the initial place of posting for a minimum of 5 years.
• Immediately after joining, you will have to join for Probation, which lasts for approx. 6 months.
