  • Russia successfully launches military satellite. It satellite is meant to monitor the functioning of other satellites and take pictures of the earth surface. Russia’s Soyuz-2.1v light-class carrier rocket has successfully put a military satellite into orbit
  • Japan won’t sign China-backed RCEP if India doesn’t join.
  • Iraq Prime Minister Adel Abdulmahdi has resigned from the post of Prime Minister.

  • GDP data for the 2nd Quarter 2019-20 has slipped to 4.5%. The economy is going through a bad phase, but experts believe that the economy has bottomed out at 4.5%.
