Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana was launched in the months of April 2015 to bring all saving bank account holders under the social security schemes of insurance covers to support families of individuals after death.
Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana applicant was insured with different companies depending on bank to bank. This is an accidental insurance which offered an assurance of Rs200000/- in cases of accidental death
To become a beneficiary of Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana you need to be of above 18 years of age and upto 70.
